Support DII

DII is an IRS 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to serve children, adolescents, and adults with specific reading/language disabilities. Established in 1989, we provide individualized, one-on-one instructional services that are specific to the needs of each individual.  For over 20 years, these important services have enabled individuals to reach their full potential by learning skills to manage the challenges of dyslexia.

By supporting DII, you will help to:

  • deliver nearly 7000 hours of one-on-one multisensory instruction to children and adults with dyslexia through our Wells Tutoring Program
  • improve the reading and language skills of struggling students in area schools, training for teachers and providing parent education and support through our School & Community Support Program
  • make our four-week summer enrichment program for children ages 7-12 through Camp Delafield, now in its 24th year, a huge success!

Over 50% of our students in these programs receive scholarship assistance, and over 80% of every dollar given to DII is directly applied to provide DII’s programs and services.
